COMMENTS Atlantic Monthly approached Funny Garbage with an unusual problem. One of their authors had a book coming out through their sister company Grove Atlantic. They wanted a site that promoted the book and offered a taste of it's contents. But they also wanted to republish, via the web, his article on the same topic that would incorporate images and maps from the original magazine layout and also would include video clips from an upcoming Discovery Channel documentary. As the art director, I worked closely with a producer, 2 programmers, and a production designer to meet the tight deadlines. CHECK IT OUT The sites are unfortunately no longer online. The book website won an interactive design award.
